KV7

KV7
The tomb of Ramesses II of Dynasty 19 in the Valley of the Kings. It has stood open since antiquity but has been badly damaged by flooding. It has not been throughly excavated until recently, but it was investigated by a French expedition beginning in 1991. The king’s mummy was found in the royal cache at Deir el-Bahri in 1881.
